The goal of the Controlled Resources facet is to employ a standards-based layer of common information models and terminologies that: Will provide a semantic bridge between guideline encoding and guideline deployment Will employ a Virtual Medical Record to support semantic translation Will employ and extend the best available standard medical terminologies Will include “deployment ontologies” such as workflow modeling and enterprise resources - required for activation of guideline content within the workflow of clinical information systems
